Jeremy Chennells (BA, MSc) is a founding partner of CHENNELLS BRüMMER & ASSOCIATES and has been involved in an advisory role in Industrial Relations and Labour Law for the past twenty five years. He serves as a part-time Commissioner with the CCMA and continues to lecture part-time in Industrial Relations at the University of Cape Town.He has been serving on several bargaining councils as an arbitrator.
Cecilia Brümmer (BA, LLB, LLM) is Jeremy’s co-founding partner of the Consultancy. She has been involved in the field of Labour Law and Industrial Relations for the past 20 years and has been admitted as an Advocate of the High Court.She also serves as a part-time Commissioner at the CCMA and is a Tokiso arbitration and training panelist. She has been serving on several bargaining councils as an arbitrator.
KOBUS SMIT holds B COMM and MBA degrees from the University of Stellenbosch. His 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field enables him to constructively integrate human resource practices into the business objectives and long term plans of organisations. Kobus also enjoys the practical side of Industrial Relations and has facilitated training with numerous organisations and shop stewards to create a joint understanding of the relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Kobus has facilitated training at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Club Travel, Printworks, Herschel High School and Diocesan College, inter alia.
COLIN RANI, BA (UWC), Dip IR, is a former trade unionist. He has been involved in trade union work for the past 11 years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Studies and a Diploma in Industrial Relations. He works extensively in different areas of Labour Law and Industrial Relations. His particular areas of expertise are: strategic trade unionism, industrial and company transformation and restructuring processes, negotiating skills and conflict resolution and diversity. Colin has done training at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, MCG Industries, Mossgas, SOEKOR, Mono Containers and USABCO.
PAMELA MOORE BA Hons (UK), MBA (UCT) has a total of 23 years experience in various corporate organisations including Syfrets Ltd, South African Breweries Ltd and Tiger Brands. She has 18 years experience in the Human Resources field including 6 years as a Divisional Organisational Effectiveness Director and 3 in strategic planning. Her particular interests are in developing business strategy, linking strategy to performance management and in leadership development and coaching. Pamela has done extensive strategic planning with WWF.
